The Little America photos were a neat surprise. I barely remember it from probably 1962 or so, up until it got turned into the 6100 building and its surrounding parking lots and buildings.
Glendale in those days always had very cool touring attractions. I remember the Sinclair lifesize animatronic dinosaurs in the parking lot after the 1964 New York World's Fair closed.
A VERY cool rocket came one summer, sort of a pre-Disney Star Tours motion simulator ride, in probably 1965 or 66. Inside a space travel movie was projected on a screen and the entire rocket pivoted up on hydraulics to simulate the gravity push of takeoff. It would rotate slightly on its axis to give the inside passengers a turning sensation.
Keep up the good work!
